Tech is pitching in to help Tsunami Victims

Jan 03 2005-As recovery workers are still searching for victims of the Tsunami natural disaster, the tech sector is pitching in to help, with large donations for local and international relief agencies, humanitarian relief and reconstruction and donations of communication equipment, and webpages helping people to donate online to help the victims.
The Michael and Susan Dell Foundation donate $3 million.
Microsoft donates $3.5 million.
Cisco donated $2.5 million and communications equipment.
Amazon has raised over $12 million by allowing people to donate thru their system.
