Free Online Storage war is heating up

Jan 16 2005-When Google came out with their Gmail and the 1 gig of storage, I thought that there had to be a catch. But there wasn't. Now Streamload is offering 10 gigs of storage online for free! Company says it will appeal to many who have large collections of photographs or mp3's.
This may have once been just for techies, or file swappers, but nowadays, everybody has a blog, or a huge collection of files that they would like to keep, this may be just that solution. The only catch is, come on you knew there had to be one, you can only download 100 megs a month and can only upload 100 megs at a time. So, this is definately not useful for file swappers, website owners, but it's ideal if you would like a backup of some of your files. But, for only 10 dollars a month, you can get looser restrictions.
Only reason I can see myself using a service such as this would be to store some mp3's, but, if you stored 10 gigs of mp3's there, it would take you 100 months to get them all back at 100 megs a month. Over 8 years. Hehe. Glad I don't need it, once I get the next pc up, we'll have almost 1.5 terabytes available locally.
