Windows Vista Office 2007 Launch Set for After Thanksgiving

Looks like the day after Thanksgiving is not only going to be the biggest shopping day of the year, it’s going to be the day that Microsoft starts shipping Windows Vista and Office 2007 to volume business partners.

The long-touted Microsoft Vista/Office 2007 tandem launch is on for the last week in November in New York, sources said. This event will focus on business usage and scenarios.

They still say it won’t ship if the code is not ready, but both the Vista and Office development teams say they are on schedule to ship then. The new Office System will contain 26 products and using the WWF, or Windows Workflow Foundation, SharePoint Server and all the other Office products will ease creation of applications for corporate IT people and ISV’s.
