Watch Broadcast HDTV Shows on Your Laptop

I can’t wait to try one of these out, the OnAir GT is a high definition tuner you plug into your laptop that allows you to watch broadcast TV signals, either analog or HDTV signals. Currently, there are over 1,500 TV stations broadcasting high definition signals over the airwaves, and even if you can’t receive the hd signals, you can watch the normal television broadcasts with amazing clarity.

The $179 OnAir GT by start-up AutumnWave is an ashtray-size high-definition tuner that plugs into your laptop, turning it into an HDTV set. I recently tested the device at CNET Networks’ headquarters in San Francisco. Source:

This is a great idea. I will be buying one soon, and will post my review here.
