Bought this for my husband for his birthday and he absoultely loved it. The beauty of it is when you miss your turn it’ll tell you to turn around. If you don’t turn around, it will automatically detect where you are, recalculate your route and go from there. Pretty awesome! It’s easy to program a route and we love having it on our trips. We have started receiving some of the newer HP notebooks, tablets and desktops of late and they have moved the LAN/WAN switching toggle from the Security manager application that runs in windows to their ULTRA slow bios program. If anyone has tried it you’ll see what I mean, it’s like running Windows XP on a 486 or something, the mouse skips and jumps around is is really annoying. If you need to enable the LAN/WAN switching, just go into system configuration and then into onboard devices and it’s right there.
I’ll never understand why this option isn’t enabled out of the box on every computer made today, why would you want your computer to be connected to wireless when you are using a faster local area network connection is beyond me. Enable it by default and let us turn it off if we need to.
